Catholic Frequency Meta (Facebook & Instagram) Application

This Privacy Policy describes how Catholic Frequency ("we", "us") handles information in connection with our Meta Platform application, which is used to publish content to and read engagement on Facebook Pages and Instagram accounts that have explicitly authorized our app.

Information we access

• Page and Instagram account identifiers and access tokens granted by the Page owner during the standard Meta OAuth flow.
• Public content (posts, comments, replies) returned by the Meta Graph API for Pages and accounts that have authorized our app.
• Aggregate engagement metrics (impressions, reach, likes, comment counts) for content we publish.

Information we do NOT collect

• Private messages of end-users.
• Profile information of users who have not interacted with our authorized Pages.
• Any data sold or shared with third-party advertisers.

How we use information

• To publish content (posts, reels, stories) to authorized Pages and Instagram accounts.
• To read and respond to comments and replies on content we have published.
• To generate internal analytics about content performance.

Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share data accessed through the Meta Platform with third parties, except where required by law or with the explicit consent of the Page owner.

Data retention

Access tokens are retained only as long as the authorizing Page owner keeps the app installed. Cached engagement data is rotated within 30 days. Logs containing user identifiers are purged on the same 30-day cycle.
