User Data Deletion Instructions

How to request deletion of data collected by the Catholic Frequency Meta (Facebook & Instagram) app.

Catholic Frequency operates a Meta Platform application used to publish content to and (where authorized) read engagement signals from Facebook Pages and Instagram accounts that the Page owner has explicitly connected. We do not store personal data about end-users of those Pages beyond what Meta returns in standard Graph API responses (e.g. comment text, reply IDs, public profile handles for replies we surface).

If you are a Page owner, an end-user who interacted with one of our Pages, or a Meta reviewer, you may request deletion of any data we hold that is associated with you.

Option 1 — Email request (recommended)

Send an email to privacy53543@catholicfrequency.com with the subject line:

Meta App Data Deletion Request

Please include:

  1. Your Facebook or Instagram username / handle (e.g. @yourname).
  2. The Catholic Frequency Page or post your data is associated with, if known.
  3. A brief statement that you are requesting deletion of your data under this policy.

We will confirm receipt within 7 days and complete deletion within 30 days. You will receive an email confirmation once deletion is complete, including the date and a reference ID.

Option 2 — Revoke app access via Meta

You can also remove Catholic Frequency's access to your Facebook or Instagram data directly through Meta's account settings. This stops any further data flow to us; combine with Option 1 if you also want existing records purged.

  1. Facebook: Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites → find Catholic Frequency → Remove.
  2. Instagram: Settings → Apps and Websites → Active → find Catholic Frequency → Remove.
